Who am I ?
My name is Evren Üzümlü.
I am from Turkey and currently living and working in Romania. I have graduated from Yildiz Technical University, Physics Programme and Istanbul University, Medical Physics Master Programme. I am working in a Radiation Oncology Department where we treat cancer patients by using radiation beams created by a linear accelerator. Why this blog ?
I love physics and I am grateful for the amazing job I have thanks to physics. And I hear a lot of people saying that they don’t like physics or it is very complicated. I was always answering them as they didn’t have a good teacher and if they had the chance to see
physics as I do, they can only be fascinated.
So I have thought why I was waiting for someone to change this situation instead of making the change I want. So this blog is my attempt to show you how I see and why I love physics and also how it effects other parts of my life. I hope you will like it and join me in this adventure!
